Continuing our series of awareness raising on human trafficking, Sister Nympha Que went to the Bontoc Vicariate, a mountain province in the Philippines. The area is inhabited by indigenous peoples called Ifugao or Igorot. This is also the place where the famous Banawe rice terraces are found. It is a beautiful place high up on the mountains with hair raising bends on the roads. The first group she talked with consisted of priests, religious men and women, government employees, and church leaders.
